Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Designer located in Abu Dhabi. The Interior Designer will be responsible for tasks such as space planning, creating architecture and construction drawings, interior design, and selecting FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment).

Responsible For
Design Concept Development:
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and vision for the interior space.
  • Develop detailed design concepts, including layout, color schemes, furniture, lighting, flooring, and accessories.
  • Present design ideas and mood boards to clients for approval.
Space Planning:
  • Create floor plans and layouts that optimize the use of space while ensuring functionality and comfort.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Address any challenges related to the size, shape, or structure of the space.
Material and Product Selection:
  • Research and select materials, finishes, furniture, and decor elements that align with the design concept and budget.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality products and materials.
  • Manage the procurement and delivery of design materials.
3D Visualization and Renderings:
  • Use design software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or 3D rendering tools) to create 3D models, visualizations, and presentations to communicate design concepts clearly to clients.
  • Provide detailed drawings and specifications to contractors and vendors.
Project Management:
  • Oversee the implementation of the design by working closely with contractors, craftsmen, and other professionals.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely delivery and adherence to client expectations.
  • Conduct site visits and supervise the progress of installations and construction.
